It's already October, and I still do not have a decent BLOG entry! *Sigh*
Well, what can I say?!? It sucks not to have an Internet access at home, when your brain is buzzing with ideas. It also sucks when you don't have a Memory Card for your new Mobile Phone, so that you can easily transfer your pics to the computer.
I only have 2 weeks left before the Final Exams come up, and I am scared to my knickers! I was absent for a week from classes due to flu, now I'm cramming in all of my subjects just to get a decent grade. Thank goodness, I passed all of my Midterm Exams, while most of my friends flunk theirs. I guess I would be in a much better disposition after the Exams.
I will be spending my School Break looking for work so that I can at least have something to pay my bills with. However, I am quite nervous about finding a new group for my NCM 201 RLE. It will be the time when I do my Hospital Duty for Maternal & Child Care. Most of my friends prefer to do their duty on weekdays, while I prefer the weekends, to give way to work.
At home, I can't seem to relax. I don't know why. I also couldn't get myself to study. Very different from when I was staying in my Grandfather's place in Manila. There, I would fix my notes & study when I'm bored. But hey! I feel more secured and at peace when I'm at home.
Nothing much has been happening except for our Community Dental Mission last Sunday. It was the first time that I did not cringe at the sight of blood & needles. It was mighty muddy in the area, though. We discovered that the heavy rains brought about by Typhoon Hanna left the place flooded with 2 feet of murky, muddy water, just the night before. Well, it went really well, I'd say. We had about 80+ patients who availed of the free Dental Extractions.
After the Dental Mission, my classmates and I went to the 1st Nursing Expo in SM Megamall. I wanted to stay and listen to the Seminars, but, unfortunately, we had to go. We all barely slept the night before, only to wake up very early in the morning for the Dental Mission.
Well, that's it for now, I guess. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still alive, though quite harrassed. Hehe. See you guys again soon... Hopefully before my Final Exams!
